Canon EOS R6 II review: hybrid just got better A full-frame professional workhorse that doesn’t skip a beat and $3,599.99 / £3,999 / AU$6399 bundled with the RF 24-105mm F4 lens.
I love using my EF 24-105 f/4 L adapted to my Canon R6 just as much as I like using it on my 1D X Mark II. Especially if the 18-55mm is the only zoom you have, you’re going to love the 24-105. The AF on the 24-105 is even better on the R6 even though it’s adapted.
Narrow maximum aperture. Lens hood not included. The Canon EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM ($599.99) may be a budget lens when compared with the company's line of L lenses that are often paired with
Still new to Canon although I got my R5 for almost 3 weeks. I recently bought a used RF 24-105 F4 and noticed soft image at the left side but i am not quite sure it is a problem or not. I went to camping for few days and took some pictures at 24mm with F8 aperture, noticed the image at the left side seems a bit soft compared to the center.
Top Pick. 1. Canon 24-70mm f/2.8. The 24-70mm f/2.8 is a staple in any pro photographers bag because of the wide variety of shots you can get and the excellent image quality. Check Price at Amazon.com. The 24-70mm f/2.8 lens is one of the most popular lenses in any lens lineup and for good reason.
On a FF body, especially on either the Canon 5D Mark III, 5D Mark IV, 1D X or 1D X Mark II, the situation is much less clear. The original Canon 24-105mm, f4L has a "lot" of barrel distortion at the wide end, plus the edges and corners lose sharpness. It's not a horrible situation in either case but the reasons why I will never have an original
The RF 24-70L is the “standard” member of the “trinity” of wide aperture, professional-grade zooms for Canon’s relatively new full frame mirrorless ecosystem built around the RF mount. It’s not by accident that some of the earliest lenses to come in the RF mount were the 24-70mm, the RF 15-35mm F2.8L IS, and the RF 70-200mm F2.8L IS
2Iem.
